Detection and  Genotyping of  Human Group A Rotavirus among Children With Acute Diarrhoea In Navi Mumbai by Polymerase Chain Reaction with special reference to vaccine strains.

Introduction of rota virus vaccine in the Indian set up recently.
The project will help to see the relevance of the vaccine in comparison with prevalent genotypes.

Principal Investigator: Dr. Chitra Pai,Dr.A.D.Ur-hekar, CoInvestigators: Dr. Ghosh  and          Dr. Mansee Rathod. Optimisation of diagnosis of Dengue virus : a comparison of Real time PCR and serological techniques. Navi Mumbai is an endemic zone for Dengue. Hence rapid and optimum diagnostic tool is a need of the hour.
